===The Sven War and the Spurrian Invasion, the End of Bruhssia (1986 - 1989)===

In 1986, a mysterious object crashed into an occupied territory held by Bruhssia; three days later, the territory fell silent much like the moonbase had previously. Bruhssia organized the remainder of its military and sent them to scout out and remove whatever had befallen the occupied territory; on arrival, they would find the omniscient being of Herobrine razing the landscape and the Sven War would begin. For several months, Bruhssian forces would put up a mighty fight before defeating Herobrine, only for him to remove his skin and reveal his true form as Sven, the Angered Creator, with full intentions to erase the world as it currently existed and remake it in his own image. Sven then raced Bruhssian Forces back to mainland Bruhssia, where untold destruction began to take place. Bruhssian forces fought for weeks, finding their strongest arms completely useless against Sven. The winning move, however, came in 1987 from the genius strategist Commissar Loyye who, recognizing that he would have died soon anyway, sacrificed himself to lead Sven into the original femur breaker. Seven hours later, Sven was confirmed to have died and the Femur Breaker was sealed away in a tough shell beneath the Bruhssian Crater. Bruhssia, crippled by this war, had little time to celebrate saving the world from annihilation, as only a few months later, the Spurrian Invasion began, and Bruhssia was one of the first targets. By 1988, Bruhssia was already knocked down to only five remaining cities before it could establish a deadlock with the Spurrians; despite their weakened state, Bruhssia was still a force to reckon with, as seen when they were able to physically cut down a Spurrian Mothership with one of their mechs, a pivotal moment in the war that would enable such a deadlock. Bruhssia knew it couldn't hold for much longer, however, and that it was unlikely to receive assistance as other nations handled their own Spurrian invaders and the tundra was not easily reachable. It was here where they made the most destructive decision in Bruhssian History, and activated the great Earthen Femur Breaker. A massive subterrenean Femur Breaker had been built on the continental plate Bruhssia rests on, fueled by the intense energy radiating from Sven's sealed shell, and it existed as a failsafe in the event of an unwinnable war where the only positive outcome is mutual defeat. On October 24th, 1989, the red button was pushed and, in an instant, all but the original capital of Bruhssia were consumed by tectonic activity and rapid ice expansion as the Earth's pain from the femur breaker shattered the Tundra. The Spurrian Forces were also decimated and retreated soon after, losing most of their forces, some of their strongest leaders and squads, and already being pushed back by other nations. Bruhssia would collapse only a month later, as by femur breaking the earth, it femur broke itself. This was the moment in which most of Bruhssian history was lost and the tundra went from cities to ruins.

This was a small but nonetheless significant era in Bruhssian history, as the collapse of C.A.R.B. left the region with a power vacuum waiting to be filled. Most military supplies had been exhausted in the previous war, however, so very few military dictators popped up, and the few who did ran out of steam as soon as they started. Furthermore, most of the surviving Bruhssian populace, after seeing their nation seemingly overnight collapse into the tundra, fled to the budding Reversal Point City, causing the population to shrink by nearly eighty percent in total. Little happened beyond this until 1994 other than the loss of all occupied territories to other powers. By 1994, however, the reconstruction of the City of Bruhssia concluded and Susyka Hatarch was able to organize a loose democracy with the few resources remaining. Due to her being the first sustainable government with a true city to inhabit, there was little competition to her rule, and in 1995, the Bruhssian Federation was founded.

In 1995, the modern age of Bruhssia began.

Revision as of 02:10, 27 June 2020

Bruhssia, also known as the Bruhssian Federation (1995 - today) today and, formerly, the Communist Autocratic Republic of Bruhssia (1922 - 1989), is a militaristic, independent nation located directly north of the Reversal City metropolitan area. Founded in the Bruhssian Tundra in 1922, Bruhssia was formerly a major world superpower characterized by its unforgiving climate, brutal culture, and communism, although in recent years it has experienced a significant economic and political downturn. In the past, Bruhssia was a communist dictatorship ruled by Commissar Лоые, translated in English to Commissar Loyye; today, Bruhssia is a loosely capitalist democratic republic led by Her Eminence Susyka, although its shrinking population has made the line between government and populace increasingly blurred.

The Age of C.A.R.B. (1922 - 1989)

Foundation (1920 - Early 1930s)

In 1920, Loyye and a small expedition team arrived at what would later become known as the Bruhssian Tundra. The original nation they came from is unknown, although the few historical records that have been found indicate Bruhssia was originally only meant to be a strategic military outpost to take advantage of the geographical barriers in the Bruhssian Tundra. Records indicate this original nation did not last long after the outpost was established, however. With the collapse of their former benefactors and the harsh climate of the tundra leaving them essentially trapped, Loyye and his crew decided to try their luck at establishig a permanent nation. This was helped immensely by the discovery of nearby native tribes, fertile soil not hidden by permafrost, and a deep clay mine to supply building efforts. Several years later in 1922, the nation now known as the Communist Autocratic Republic of Bruhssia finally emerged as it became sustainable. The military background and original plans for Bruhssia still remained in this new nation, however, as most of its buildings were built with form over function and the strict social hierarchy and lack of plentiful resources led to an autocratic government and harsh command economy. In the following decades, Bruhssia would quickly accelerate its pace and become the largest and most powerful nation at the time; by only 1931, it was already meeting its modern border size and its GDP, adjusted for inflation, was almost half of what TBC holds today. By 1934, Bruhssia entered its next major age, the Age of Innovation.

The Age of Innovation (Late 1930s - 1969)

This is considered the peak of Bruhssian society, where it reached a comparative opulence to modern Reversal Point City, even with the harsh societal gaps considered. The beginning of this era started with the discovery of low-friction roads and vehicles using nearby glaciers, which allowed Bruhssia to rapidly explode in size as it could construct highways. At this point, Bruhssia still only had its capital, the titular City of Bruhssia; only five years later, it had nearly ten (Only the City of Bruhssia still remains, however.). It was here that Bruhssian innovation exploded further; the femur breaker, the ultimate source of energy before Hoopla, was discovered and put into use initially only for torturing slaves in the gulags - worth noting, these gulags created a grudge between Spurrians and Bruhssians that would come back to bite Bruhssia later. A freak accident in 1945 that leveled a gulag showed Bruhssia the might of femur breakers and its potential for macro-sized technology. Many military and industrial advances were made following the discovery of the femur breaker, from massive anti air batteries to manned fortress-sized combat mechs that, even today, possess almost unmatched movement on snowy terrain. This is also when religion was introduced to Bruhssia. Before now, Bruhssia was primarily atheistic and encouraged it heavily towards its citizens due to lingering military traditions, but this all changed with the arrival of Keifer Jones and his poorly-understand Sansistic religion. Unfortunately, most of the advancements made in this era beyond this are similarly poorly understood. Despite the importance of this era, most records were not well maintained or were destroyed in future cataclyms, so researching and rediscovering this past has become a major focus of Modern Bruhssia. The tail end of this era is, however, well-known. In 1969, on the month of June, Bruhssia made its absolute greatest advancement yet - it was the first nation to reach the old Moon and set up a moonbase. This victory would be shortlived, however, as the downfall of Bruhssian history would begin soon.

Early Downfall (1970 - 1985)

The beginning of this era is widely considered to have been prophetic for what was soon to come, as the Bruhssian Crater was formed only a few miles away from the capital of Bruhssia and a city was instantly vaporized. The cause of this crater is still unknown, but speculation and research suggest it was the result of tests with weaponizing femur breaker technology further. For the next several years, Bruhssia would find itself continually outcompeted by other nations and companies and its grip on the world would falter; while it was lucky enough to avoid any significant impact from the Financial Crash of 1983, its economic status still wasn't in great shape. Almost immediately after in 1985, the Bruhssian Moonbase would suddenly go silent; TBC was originally blamed, but it was soon discovered that something far worse was at hand, and the final nail in the coffin of C.A.R.B. was only a few years away.

The Sven War and the Spurrian Invasion, the End of Bruhssia (1986 - 1989)

In 1986, a mysterious object crashed into an occupied territory held by Bruhssia; three days later, the territory fell silent much like the moonbase had previously. Bruhssia organized the remainder of its military and sent them to scout out and remove whatever had befallen the occupied territory; on arrival, they would find the omniscient being of Herobrine razing the landscape and the Sven War would begin. Bruhssia would collapse only a month later, as by femur breaking the earth, it femur broke itself. This was the moment in which most of Bruhssian history was lost and the tundra went from cities to ruins.

The Fractured Era (1989 - 1995)

This was a small but nonetheless significant era in Bruhssian history, as the collapse of C.A.R.B. left the region with a power vacuum waiting to be filled. Most military supplies had been exhausted in the previous war, however, so very few military dictators popped up, and the few who did ran out of steam as soon as they started.
